A Perfect Whole Foods Diet (PWFD) brings a number of benefits. The PWFD can help correct or prevent a variety of diseases or symptoms. If you have health problems that are puzzling your doctor, or if you have gone from one doctor to another in search of help but to no avail, then following this diet perfectly may well prove to be useful to you. Some of the most dramatic reversals of poor health to good health I have seen have been in those people who have read The Healing Power of Whole Foods book by Beth Loiselle RD (which is highly recommended for following this diet) and followed its advice perfectly for a week or so. After following this diet, most people are amazed at how well they feel and how much their health has improved. In addition, the PWFD can repair Krebs Cycle function, end a refined carbohydrate addiction, assist weight loss, and enhance taste sensitivity and enjoyment of eating.
To begin a Perfect Whole Foods Diet, eliminate all refined foods from your diet and eat only whole foods. Whole foods are natural foods that have been minimally processed, and thus the trace nutrients needed for metabolism have not been removed. Whole foods include:
You may go on a Perfect Whole Foods Diet for a two-week trial period to see how it can help you. A two-week trial of this diet is enough to produce health benefits (sometimes dramatic health benefits) and to let you know if this diet will help your health condition.
To do a two-week trial of the Perfect Whole Foods Diet, we recommend that you follow the instructions in the book The Healing Power of Whole Foods by Beth Loiselle (ISBN 0963747800). It serves as a reference for knowing which foods can safely be eaten on a perfect diet and which ones cannot. The Healing Power of Whole Foods contains the basic information you need for the Perfect diet.
All forms of sugars, starches, and alcohol must be totally avoided. If you follow the advice in Beth's book, you will most likely experience significant health benefits. Thus, you will find out how much better you can feel and what the diet can do for you.
Please note that if you are diabetic and are taking any oral hypoglycemic agents or insulin, you must be under a doctor's supervision if you attempt a two-week trial.
Our book, Recapture Your Health, gives further information about how the Perfect Diet works, explains the easiest ways to socialize and eat in restaurants, and teaches other important specifics about how best to accomplish a Perfect Diet. We recommend that you read it. More information about the Perfect Whole Foods Diet is also available on Dr. Stoll's website, www.askwaltstollmd.com and on Beth Loiselle's website at www.wholefoodsforlife.com.
There is also a special page of products carried by Internatural which are relevant to the practice of the 3LS Wellness Program.
Please remember that the three legs of Dr. Stoll's 3LS Wellness Program -- Skilled Relaxation, Whole Foods Diet, and Right Exercise -- work synchronically. Each practice supports and helps the other. Thus, whether you are healing a chronic condition or wishing to maintain good health, doing all three practices simultaneously will help you the most. Thus to receive the greatest health benefits, it is recommended that you learn about and do all of them.
